All The News That's Fit To Strip

While hosting a burlesque performance in Montreal, Carmen Electra told the Globe and Mail that Americans have a split personality when it comes to sex. Our healthy libido is mixed with a seriously puritanical streak, giving us both icons like Madonna and sexual scandals involving conservative senators.

"At the end of the day, we all have wants and desires and fantasies," says Electra. "Some may be deeper than others. When you're in entertainment you have more freedom to express your sexuality and your fantasies. Political people are a bit different - they often have to be a certain way, and if they're not in reality, it's more shocking."
